Norwegian Roots & Travel is owned by Elisabeth Sleire-Gjerde and Torill Torsvik Størkersen, and the company was established in 2007.

We grew up next door to each other, and we are related. Torill’s mother is the sister of Elisabeth’s grandmother.
We have our family in common, as well as our interest in the history of Norway, Norwegian traditions and the search for relatives.
Our education and previous work experience is from the travel industry. We have good knowledge of Norwegian culture, traditions and ways of travel, and have an extensive network throughout Norway.

We handle payment with Visa, MasterCard and American Express in cooperation with Teller AS and DIBS e-mail solution. This is a secure payment for you as our customers, guaranteeing payment to us through one of the biggest companies n Norway within online payment.
We are members of the Norseman foundation, DIS Norway, Ancestry.com.
We are agents with IATA license (International Air Transport Association) This means we can book tickets for our customers, with almost the entire airline industry.
